So I went to the art class. Had a relaxing time doing zentangles w watercolor pencils & figuring out my artist signature. I Uber'd there & then walked back home (made sure to wear a cap on my head & drink plenty of water).
Whelp. There's a heat advisory today. Might have to Uber there & back after all. Mannnn. I'm tryin to save money, and the art therapy class already costs $35. Ubering there & back will cost me at least $30 (includ. the tip). Which is why I wanted to at least walk there....
Got registered for the neighborhood adult art therapy class tomorrow. It's a 30 min walk to get there, but at least I can leave the house early & get my steps in. And I can always Uber back to my house if I want once the class is over.

I do zentangles when I need a simple thing? Here is one I did while sitting through the three hour graduation ceremony for my 22yo. Looks impressive but you just draw a circle, draw some circles in it, then more in the spaces between, color in the negative space and doodle each circle as you please

I've been experimenting with zentangles lately and did this green and blue piece with acrylic paint and posca markers on canvas 💙💚 and this rainbow spiral with permanent and alcoholic markers in my sketchbook 🏳️🌈 c:
