The host left a welcome basket with some Chip Star that I promptly demolished for sodium after the ordeal getting here, then dragged myself back out to 7-11 for some staple items it's important to have around.
The Pocari Sweat brought me back to life. The 196 is for VC this week. ;)

Nothing like starting the day with a balanced breakfast of vending machine coffee and melon soda. ;)
I managed to get a decent remote setup running for work as well, did some day jobbing, and then it was time to meet up with Diameow!

That was 1390 yen, or $9.50, which is solid for a meal cost but that's after the 50% off for carryout.
Like I said, pizza is really expensive here. Even the fast food type. <_<;

I love a good rain and that's certainly what we got while we poked around for a good izakaya. Soaked in minutes even with umbrellas but eh, whatever. I don't get to see rain much where I live anymore. lol

Well, it was Virtual Couch day and we both made it to the show without being too crispy so I guess our counters worked!
Housework day so not much to report but I was finally able to collect on a favor done for me by somebody I met last trip: Yoshi P's autograph. ;)

Well, it was Virtual Couch day and we both made it to the show without being too crispy so I guess our counters worked!

Cheated for dinner & decided to do a local Domino's because 1. they do things a bit differently, and 2. they had a deal so pizza wasn't as insanely expensive as normal.
This is one of their Quattro pizzas; an 8 slice pizza where 2 slices are each from 4 different pizzas. XD

Soooo worth it. Fantastic katsu sando, some good coffee, and a nice dessert hit the spot.
Seems like it'll be a good study spot as well! I always need a couple of those when I'm here.
