An illustration of my original characters, Liu Zhurong and Zhang Ruoxi. They are standing back-to-back in the centre of the drawing, with their arms crossed and are looking at each other with stern expressions on their faces. They both have their hair up in a high ponytail. Zhurong is slightly shorter than Ruoxi. They’re both coloured in a golden glow. Behind them is a stone sculpture on a wall of them gazing at each other lovingly in their past life. Behind Zhurong is Ruoxi’s portrait on the wall, where he has long hair and pointy ears. Behind Ruoxi is Zhurong’s portrait on the wall. The centre of the wall has a glow, while the rest is covered in shadows.

She has a blue ribbon as a bandage around her leg. Ruoxi looks annoyed at her, while she looks away annoyed as well. They're in a bamboo forest at night, illuminated by moonlight and fireflies.

In Chinese #mythology, Zhurong is the god of fire, summer, the South, and the Southern Sea. Depicted with the body of a beast and the face of a human, he rides atop two dragons and follows the commands of the Heavenly Emperor.
🎨 Snow Fish According to legend, Zhurong, revered for teaching humans to use fire, faced the discontent of water god Gonggong. Gonggong, upset over humans' preference for Zhurong, unleashed global waters towards Kunlun Mountain, extinguishing its sacred fire and plunging the world into darkness. Zhurong retaliated, riding a fire dragon to defeat Gonggong. In defeat, Gonggong struck his head on Mount Buzhou, breaking the sky's pillar and causing widespread disaster. This event is linked to the myth of Nuwa repairing the sky.

An uncoloured sketch of my OC, Zhang Ruoxi. He is looking towards the right and showing his back towards the viewr. Here the hair behind his high ponytail is revealed, which is tied up into a dolphin-tail kind of hairstyle with three braids resembling scales in the middle. His hair reaches a little below his waist. A messy sketch of my ocs, Zhang Ruoxi and Liu Zhurong. Here Ruoxi is proudly giving Zhurong some radish candy, while Zhurong is looking away in disgust and trying not to throw up at the sight of the radish candy. Above her is a poorly drawn sacabambaspis, who is her master's spirit form. Above Ruoxi is a poorly drawn dragon and fox, who are his masters.

Suprise Catch 🎣💫 a quick little experiment

#OC #ocsky #art
An illustration of my original characters Liu Zhurong and Zhang Ruoxi in a night market warmly lit by orange/red lanterns on a snowy winter night. Zhurong is wearing a green hanfu and has her hair in a simple high ponytail with a red ribbon. She has light brown skin with freckles and black eyes with a faint red flower marking on her forehead. She has her arms around Ruoxi's neck as he's carrying her. Ruoxi has fair skin with black eyes and long black hair, with a black headband around his forehead. They're both looking at each other suprised. On the right corner is a blue parasol falling down.

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but Zhurong (Meng Huo's wife) was not a scantily clad blonde woman IRL because she didn't exist.
