Once unknowingly working to destroy each other, now the last Lorekeeper and the DNA Pokemon find common ground in their love of the stars.

Even though I haven't stopped making Zinnia content, this is the post that gets to resume the Zinnia Thursday tradition!

Pixel art of Lorekeeper Zinnia from Pokemon ORAS. Zinnia, standing on the edge of a cliff with her left leg slightly higher than her right leg, is looking towards the camera with a smirk. Her cape and hair are being blown to her left, and behind her covering much of the background is a blood moon.

"Or will you take the weapon before you, and cut your way out of this sad, forgotten dream?" Here's another self-indulgent crossover thing I made
Pixel art of Lorekeeper Zinnia from Pokemon ORAS in the Dream Realm from Hollow Knight. Zinnia, facing left, is standing in front of a moth statue, holding the Dream Nail, a bright-shining shortsword, up in the air with her left arm raised. The ground below ZInnia is glowing bright, illuminating Zinnia and the moth statue. The background consists of a silver pink sky with brown, orange, and dark grey clouds, and a floating roofed island is visible, in shadow.

Why did I send Zinnia from Pokemon to the world of Hollow Knight? My two brainworms have combined to make me do so. Why the Resting Grounds in particular? I dunno, the area just has a lot of lore
Pixel art of Lorekeeper Zinnia from Pokemon ORAS (woman with light-tan skin, brown eyes, black hair and a beige cape) standing in front of the Dreamer Monument, located in the Resting Grounds (a primarily blueish-grey area) from Hollow Knight. The monument consists of a tablet in front of three pillars, each pillar having the masklike face of one of the three Dreamers (Monomon, Lurien, and Herrah).

While I did love Pokemon XY, it was ORAS that really made me a fan of Pokemon for the long haul. To be honest, I can't even begin to say how much this game means to me, so I'll just say this instead:
Happy 10 years! Have some pixel art to celebrate!

Lorekeeper Zinnia from Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire is standing behind a table with a happy expression. On the table is a cake with ten candles and a Whismur, wearing a party hat and looking at the cake. In the background is a pixel map of the Hoenn region and a banner that reads "HAPPY 10TH ANNI POKEMON ORAS"

Made an Arc Suit pixel art for Zinnia!
I took the gold details on the outfit’s lower torso from cuteskitty’s Arc Suit Wallace concept but all other design elements are either my own, common to all DeNA Arc Suits, or present in Zinnia’s Lorekeeper outfit from Pokemon ORAS.

Another quick #ZinniaThursday meme on a not-Thursday to celebrate the reveal of the Zinnia minifig! (this meme was set before Zinnia inexplicably gained flirting skills with her SC outfit)
Pokemon Masters photo creator 2-panel screenshot with text overlayed. On panel 1, Zinnia, with a concerned expression, says "Raihan, quick! How flirt woman?", with the woman in question (Plumeria) standing in the background. Raihan, visibly unamused, responds "Why are you asking the gay man?" On panel 2, Zinnia yells "Cause I'm gonna be bi-myself if you don't help me out here!" In sympathy, Raihan hits the pensive-emoji face.

3-panel meme made in the photo mode of Pokemon Masters, with added text panel 1: Zinnia says “Kissing that girl who overthinks things!” panel 2: Zinnia kisses Courtney on the cheek (the original Tumblr meme specified “on the lips” but I position get the models to look like that) saying “Mwwwah! No more thinking for you, beautiful!” panel 3: Courtney stands alone, irate, and remarks “…Keystone stolen again.”

#zinniathursday Actually, why on earth have the non-Courtney Magma/Aqua admins not been made playable yet in Masters? It’s been at least 4 years since they got introduced as NPC with voicelines and everything it can’t be that hard to make them playable
Two Pokemon characters, Shelly (appearing as her official art because she’s not uet playable in Pokemon Masters) and Zinnia (appearing as her Masters model), stand on a beach. Shelly asks “Have you ever heard of aquaporins?” and Zinnia answers “Oh, yeah, I love when that happens!” Aquaporins are nouns, not verbs, so Shelly, caught off-guard enough to transform into her ORAS overworld model, asks “Wait, ‘happens’? You don’t mean the cellular channel proteins?”. Zinnia responds “Nah, that’s nerd shit. I mean someone from Team Aqua pourin’ me another glass of Mug Root Beer”, with the “Mug Root Beer” text replaced with the brand’s logo.

Rejoice, for Zinnia Thursday is upon us once more! For the one right after Valentine's Day I wanted to do a "Valentine's Day" card she'd definitely approve of.

Zinnia photoshop by a Tumblr mutual
A Valentine's Day card meme. The background is of a night sky with several of the stars arranged in a heart shape. The card's message reads "So what if it's too late for Valentine's Day? Chocolate's always cheaper the day after anyways! Here, have some!" Below the message there's a "To:" and "From:" space to write names, and at the bottom right quadrant of the card there's an image of Lorekeeper Zinnia (from Pokemon ORAS) arched forward, with her cape flowing behind her.

I put Zinnia in Terraria fighting the Eye of Cthulhu because of the 1.4.5 update that dropped Tuesday. And now I gotta play the update because I've been putting it on hold to make this art 😅

A nighttime scene in a grassy area with one tree and a mountain range in the background. Lorekeeper Zinnia from Pokemon ORAS fights the Eye of Cthulhu, a Terraria boss that's a giant eyeball monster, in its second phase (where it has a mouth in place of its iris and pupil). ZInnia is using a Starfury, a bright pink/purple sword that can summon stars to fall out of the sky to deal damage.

Zinnia made the mistake of sending out her Noivern (4x weak to ice) in Snowpoint City and now has to break it out of the ice the hard way.

Lorekeeper Zinnia from Pokemon ORAS, wearing a red puffy jacket instead of her usual outfit, is facing a block of ice to her right in side profile and punching it. The ice is cracking where her fist meets the block. Inside the ice is her trusty Noivern, frozen facing Zinnia with a wide-eyed expression. Behind the two are a line of snow-covered trees on top of a short ledge.
