Today is the national day of Romania and as a Romanian girl, I decided to draw my Inkling in traditional romanian clothes. ♥️

First, We have a romanian blouse with floral pattern, which is called "Ie" (Pronounced: i~e). It is the most important piece of folklore. The floral pattrrn design symbolizes life, growth, and prosperity. Then we have "Fotă" which is a wraped-around skirt woven with a specific pattern that aligns with the Blouse. It is worn over a petticoat. "Brâu" is a wide woven belt that accentuates the waist. It is often with patterns or colors that contrast with the blouse and skirt. For the shoes, we have "opinci" (Pronounced: opintsch), which are brown leather sandals worn with woollen socks "colțuni" (Pronounced: kol~tzun). There are some sentences about the meaning of the traditional Romanian clothes from a website, so here is the Link: https://romaniatourstore.com/blog/romanian-traditional-clothing-meaning
