Funny story from work today.
Customer, feeding the roos: "Which one is the alpha male?"
Big roo: *immediately stands taller and punches the roo beside him in the face*
Me: "That one."

There is no pillow more comfortable than your best friend's butt.
Did you all know kangaroos have friends and will hang out with some mob members more than others?

Funny moment today. Was showing a colleague how to work the new time clock.
What I tried to say: "This is the start shift button"

My friend needs a new dentist. Her last one quit. Any volunteers? Don't worry, her bite isn't thaaaat bad. Only half as strong as a lion, that's all! You won't even feel that measly 1400psi of pressure!
Fun fact: Tassie Devils have 42 teeth, the same number as a dog!

Every keeper knows this rule by heart, and probably has a few scars or stories to prove it 😅
Here’s to loving the wild ones, bite marks and all.

They might be common, but I always enjoy watching the Little Wattle Birds play! Did you know that their scientific name, Anthochaera chrysoptera tasmanica, means Tasmanian Golden-Winged Flower Enjoyer?

Really excited to talk about this! At my job, we successfully hatched a baby pancake tortoise! So, meet Biscuit! Pancake tortoises (Malacochersus tornieri) are critically endangered, so we are super excited to have hatched this little cutie!
