Agreed completely. Making horror work in daylight is genius.
However, Zygons are horrific creatures and should never ever be seen in daylight because they just look silly.

The cease-fire between the Humans and Zygons has broken, and with Osgood and some Humans-Zygons missing, The Doctor, Clara, and UNIT must find them and prevent an all-out war between the two races in "The Zygon Invasion", aired 11 Years Ago. #DoctorWho #DayInFandomHistory

Perhaps Liz Truss was the Prime Minister on the phone to the Brigadier in “Terror of the Zygons”?
Liz Truss claims the U.K. would have managed successful missions to Mars within years — if only her 49-day premiership hadn’t been cut short.

And Terror of the Zygons was made in season 12, so the Doctor's Scottish beret counts.

One idea for a new season of Doctor Who is to have it entirely themed around grape picking and wine making.
Stories would include:
Terroir of the Autons.
The Marc of the Asti.
Terroir of the Zygons.
Racemation of the Daleks.
Terroir of the Vervoids.

The Androids of Tara. This deserves to be talked of in the same breath as Genesis, Zygons or Pyramids. One of my favourite fourth doctor stories and a real highlight of the Graham Williams years.

When Tom Baker's Doctor finished it there were no Davison episodes yet, so TV in my area looped back to Tom's earlier stories which I had not seen. I wasn't a young child then and #DoctorWho had not yet scared me. But I think Terror of the Zygons did a bit.
This month's story challenge for October:
A story that really terrifies you!

I’m kind of jealous of new fans because if I could discover it all over again, I would ❤️
I particularly enjoyed the Twitch reruns and the humour. The soldier constantly saying SIR in Zygons and LONDON 1965! I love seeing it through their eyes!
