No official word from the player, nor the club has dropped at the time of this writing. Again, this post is based off of a report from Bild and an extraction by RMC Sport amon other news outlets._ Just when things were really starting to click for both Bayern Munich and Alphonso Davies, the Canadian might be in some hot water. According to a report from Bild, Davies was stopped by police for driving “slightly drunk” in a Lamborghini. This is obviously not the kind of news that the team needed ahead of its tile with Borussia Dortmund in _Der Klassiker_ on Saturday: > Thursday, 2.15 am in Munich: the police stopped Alphonso Davies slightly drunk in his Lamborghini @BILD_Sport pic.twitter.com/NTgHlHYZSc > > — Christian Falk (@cfbayern) November 29, 2024 This is what Bild had in their tease in front of the paywall: > Bayern star Alphonso Davies (24) was stopped by the police in the middle of Munich and was no longer allowed to drive his sports car. > > Read exclusively with BILDplus what blood alcohol level was measured, what threatens him now and how FC Bayern reacts. RMC Sport captured the report and posted this information: > With an estimated blood alcohol level of 0.6 g/l, Alphonso Davies was arrested while drunk driving a Lamborghini on the night of Thursday to Friday, German media outlet Bild reported. Bayern Munich has not yet commented. > > It was in the very centre of Munich that Alphonso Davies (24) had trouble with the police. Three days **after Bayern Munich’s victory over Paris Saint-Germain (1-0)** , on the night of Thursday to Friday at around 2:15 am, the explosive left-back was arrested at the wheel of a black Lamborghini Urus by the police, _**Bild**_ announced on Friday. > > It was while talking to the Canadian international that the police officers smelled a strong odor of alcohol. After taking him directly to the station to carry out an alcohol test, the Munich player was assessed at 0.6 g/l of blood (the legal limit being set at 0.5 for experienced drivers), specifies the German media, which constitutes an infraction and not an offense (the criminal sanction starts at 0.8 g/l). Zach Lowy broke it down as well (and subsequently pulled down his tweet): > Alphonso Davies was pulled over at 2:15 a.m. today after driving drunk in his Lamborghini Urus. > > Davies' blood alcohol content was 0.6, which will likely see him receive a fine of €500 and lose his driver's license for a month.https://t.co/oVbdVw2Ivi > > — Zach Lowy (@ZachLowy) November 29, 2024 As a reminder, this is information is based on an initial report from Bild and nothing official has been released by Davies or Bayern Munich at this time.
