The drive there, frankly, was fucking horrendous.
Based on what I saw on the A605, I'd take licences from half the people I encountered. I called the police on one bloke in a BMW.
His driving was swivel-eyed psychotic.

Hi Rachel. Room for at least 3 cars at the field entrance with a sign saying "Eldernell Farm", on the side of the A605. Tundras were with about 200 Pinkfeet + took ages to find; nearly gave up. Geese flew in at 1030ish. Good luck!

#SignalboxSunday Returning from Whittlesey with @bennybizzle1.bsky.social yesterday we visited the former GER box at Kings Dyke crossing, built in 1899. I remember waiting at these gates a time or two in the past on the A605. The crossing is now fenced off & replaced by a new bridge. 6/12/25

Around Stanground in Peterborough they've got all the chevron signs for the A605 completely wrong. Sometimes it's A605 on white! Sometimes it's A605 on green! There seems to have been no effort to check which signs go where and it's so annoying
