The logical endpoint of the Roberts’ Courts separation of powers “jurisprudence” is that Congress can only do the exact same things it did in 1789, and nothing else.

yeah, i can definitely agree with that! it's just that my read is that no amount of protection would've really helped *in this instance* because the actual dispute isn't really aboutwhat it's purporting to be about.

solve this with the mythic system and some homebrewed mythic callings and paths. But that dovetails into the learned helplessness and people not knowing/being honest aboutwhat they want issues that pervade RPG spaces.

I'm lawful good apparently? I do care a lot about the author interaction, probably more than the fic itself. For example, before I read a fic I'll scan the comments and if an author didn't respond to any, I won't read it. That's just not the experience i want.
