I used to tell my bomb disposal teams “you can run but you just die tired” - I picked that up from an AC130 gunner.
It doesn't matter if you're jacked enough to win the Caber Toss at the Highland Games and have superb MMA experience if some granny sitting in a window pops a shot off with an old gun and takes your damn head off. At a certain point physical prowess is meaningless in combat, because guns don't care
