Took my antibiotic. Doing the 12-hours apart dance.
500mg of amoxicillin and 125mg of clavulanic acid.
Wife said she was told to take hers for seven days but I think I'm going to stop at 5. That's three more doses.
I only have a small knot of swelling right at the tooth's base now.

One subtraction explains why blood carries about 20 bicarbonate for every dissolved CO2. Henderson-Hasselbalch: pH 7.4 minus pKa 6.1 is 1.3, and 10^1.3 is about 20. Metabolism makes more acid than base, so a buffer weighted toward base is the one worth having.

my fav salmon technique came from serious eats!! you make a “marinade” w/ mayo as a base, then add salt + acid + a little spice and sweet if you want, and broil it. definitely recommend an instant read thermometer - salmon is beautiful around 135° and it’s easy to overshoot.
