Not only did I read that in 6 hours but I also proceeded to reread ACOMAF, ACOFAS and ACOTAR immediately afterwards. Sooo technically 6 books? Lol.
It’s so depressing leaving such a wonderful world and getting back to a shitty reality none of us asked for.

THIS!! i remember all my friends encouraging me to read it... and i finally put my stubbornness aside for the first book. called the ending many chapters in advance and never finished the series.
really tempted to try ACOMAF now that it's been some time...
Fourth Wing is also just... bad

Like feyre talked about tamlin the exact same way az talked about elain in acosh, the only reason it was more icky and cringe is because hes a man, but I can promise you the reason we never got rhys' pov in acomaf is because he would have been equally as much of a whiny bitch as az was in this

That's fair!! I think they are worth the read at least once because in reality, SMJ's ACOTAR started the booktok movement and a lot of people reference it. Not as the gold standard, but as the well known standard.
ACOMAF is boring in the beginning. It picks up near the end and then you kinda

The urge to spend the rest of the day posting cancel-worthy hot takes of #ACOTAR
...with many of my positions utterly contradicting each other
ACOMAF helped me process trauma that nothing else could touch & remains my second favorite book of all time
At least that aspect hasn't changed

I’ve said for years ACOMAF is my favorite ACOTAR book but I’m realizing on this reread that I’ve mistaken and ACOSF is far better and I sympathize so much more with Nesta and can relate with her struggles #Booksky

Rhysand under the Mountain
I can only imagine the few times Rhys was alone & would let himself think about his family back in Velaris.

#booksky, I am 75% of the way through ACOWAR, so I’ll probably power through it this week to finish it.
This has to be my favorite ACOTAR book (so far!). There’s a healthy mix of story and spice for me to enjoy it. ACOMAF is a close second.
