Aw sweet, new man-mad horrors: Opus can make JS animated videos that actually look pretty good. And to be clear, it's not just Midjourney dreaming out pixels, it's programming all the vector graphics, like writing an SVG raw, or making a flash video in actionscript.

Flash is single-threaded. If you use Ruffle, ActionScript will still be single-threaded. What you have to do is to calculate those things in JavaScript, Flash only needs to call a function in JS and receive the answer.

I figured it was just a set of animations being played at random and that to get this working I’d have to clone and create a new .swf.
But all the hooks to render a realtime visualizer were already there. I just patched the ActionScript to query a .dll I grab the system audio with and render that.

Funny thing about this is to find out if this was even possible I used a tool to decompile the .swf to get a look at the ActionScript that runs this section of the UI and the fake visualization was all procedural.
