Elise reisde af naar Mount Joy om te ontdekken of er liefde kon ontstaan tussen haar en Joy, maar ze liep tegen heel iemand anders aan. Ze werd smoorverliefd op zijn vriend Ilídio, en de twee kregen al snel een relatie. Het koppel bezegelde hun liefde met een baby en wonen ondertussen in een ander land.

Dieuwertje Blok overleed op 67-jarige leeftijd, maar was ongekend positief en troostte zelfs haar eigen familie bij haar afscheid.
