The Black family conceptually has always been queer.

From non-gendered roles to adopting non-blood relatives into the core structure, adaptablity has been a hallmark of intimate Black groupings.

The insistence on straight people coupling to be the primary expression of that is a big step backwards

Apprenticeships prime you for what a particular industry wants you to do now, that's not the future

Generalist degrees teach adaptablity. Now that's future proofing
