TASCO Addiator. Combines the addition and subtraction slides, but uses a sliding gate to constrain your actions to the appropriate operation. Looks better than it actually works. Still, it's a neat idea and the whole thing is shiny metal. #addiator #addingmachine

Bog standard Addiators are actually some of the easiest to use. Smooth action and no need to flip them to do subtractions. Also cheap and plentiful! #addiator #addingmachine

There are hundreds of different brands for this adder type, but the most common name is the Addiator. I collect mechanical calculators and have a few of these, including one for hexadecimal calculations!

A couple more Addiators. Both are rudimentary. You can subtract if you know what you're doing, but the machines don't really help with it. #addiator #addingmachine

It seems you can use clay sculpting tools or tracing paper embossing stylus as a mechanical slide adder stylus.

I have a similar one to the Addiator - the Magic Brain - but you can only operate it from the front (i.e. can't flip), so for subtraction it has the numbers printed in reverse order next to the addition numbers and you operate it differently (from the front).
