Spent last night in Central City, CO. Very quaint mining turned gambling town at almost 9000ft ASL. I took the old mountain pass road up here, dirt and gravel with stunning views and hundreds of old tailings piles, adits, and ruined mining equipment sites.

Could be worth checking the location in Lamplugh's Geology of IOM. So many trials, adits etc. Although 120 years old & some of his work may not have stood test of time, it is fascinating book.

Dem leaders didn’t even ask for adits in 24 election cycle & they just rolled over again. Even when little X said they cheated & Trump alluded to it too- nothing from dem leadership. & none of them are alarm bells about Moscow Mitch. Surprised Schumer hasn’t spoken to “ his good friend” Mitch.

There are two adits from this shaft—one going north, with a TBM in it, and another headed south, toward Blue Plains, whose TBM is still on the surface. The photo's looking at the end that doesn't have the machine in it.
