I have Acrobat Pro and have always plotted my drawings using AdobePDF.pc3 as opposed to DWGtoPDF.pc3 because they are a little sharper, and do not have any default sidebars at all (bookmarks, etc.). ACAD 2017 took away the option of having no sidebars at all pop up by default. 2016 had the option of none, but for some reason it was deemed a good idea to take away that option. The problem I am having is with the new default file name, which changed using AdobePDF in revision 2025.1.2. If you do not use AdobePDF.pc3, this will not make sense. It used to be that layouts were printed with the names SampleDrawing 1 (1), SampleDrawing 2 (1), etc where "SampleDrawing" is the file name, and the number before the parenthesis was the layout tab name. With 2025.1.2, all tabs plot with a 1 before the parenthesis, so you have to manually change the names. I assume going forward with 2026 that this will be the way it is. Is there anyone using AdobePDF.pc3 to plot that has seen this in 2025.1.2, and found a way around it? Or, has anyone found a way to use DWGtoPDF and not have ANY sidebars open up by default?
