It's cool that Kyouhei Ishiguro woke up one day and suddenly decided to be the greatest anime opening director. Like yeah now he only makes insane, thematically rich sequences on good anime, where he matches indie adventurousness with polish exclusive to commercial work. Seihantai nation we up

I like it but I wish there was a little more adventurousness happening

I've loved this show from the jump, but the tightness and technical adventurousness of tonight's episode really floored me. Emma D'Arcy deserves the fuckin Emmy, man.

Roth: "It's beyond me how you can be the leader of an ed institution + not defend diversity + inclusion instead of trying to scrub it." Some say: "we shld only speak abt things that are rlvnt to our mission," but are "artistic experimentation + scholarly adventurousness not part of our mission?"

maybe the reason why you see fewer American and European young people traveling isn’t their lack of interest or adventurousness, but the fact the West has grown profoundly more unequal, and the tourist industry caters to dollars, not bodies, and dollars are disproportionately in older hands.

Texas has an amazingly vibrant food scene because of the layerings on influences over 150 years plus the adventurousness of chefs playing with culinary traditions. Viet-Latino bbq is amazing.

The "Wrecking Ball" tour returned to Europe in 2013 with renewed vigor and a spirit of adventurousness clearly evident at the second show in Turku. Bruce opened the show with an acoustic "I'll Work for Your Love" from "Magic" — the first of several special additions...

China is both overwhelming and constricting as a foreigner: the cities are vast and feel endless, but the parts where you carve out some comfort for yourself can (unless you are like a 99the percentile adventurousness person) feel quite small at times.

A lot of this adventurousness has just been me being willing to try and fail, and keeping track of what tastes I actually really enjoy and being curious about what brings that flavor together.

If you're struggling, try to learn one new recipe each month.

This is an interesting take and also something of survivor bias. In a totalitarian conservative regime, behaviors that are non-conservative are antithetical to survival. In a changing environment, adventurousness that isn't punished is instead a survival trait.

I read ROAMING by @dirtbagg.bsky.social & Mariko Tamaki. Does a really compelling job of capturing the aimlessness, the hope and betrayal, and the adventurousness of a certain age.

Gay French author Andre Gide was BOTD in 1869 & died in 1951 at 81. Known for his fiction & autobiographical works, he expressed the conflict & eventual reconciliation of the 2 sides of his personality, a Protestant austerity & a transgressive sexual adventurousness, respectively

It's some indefinable mix of confidence, reliability, tenderness, kindness, adventurousness, and self-knowledge. And humor. Silly humor and a goofy smile are always super fucking hot.

What makes a good player?
- attendance
- attention
- absorbance
- adventurousness
- allyship

Attendance: communicate when you'll be there and when you won't. "I'm looking forward to the game!" helps your GMs morale and inspires other players. Be as easy to plan for as circumstance lets.

Final Fantasy 2 is an extremely experimental game, owing to the homebrewer inclinations of Kawazu.

It is because of this adventurousness that I've noticed Anglophones, at least—of whom few had the chance to play it before it became tragically dated—REALLY dislike it.

But it's one of my favorites.

The Trading Post at Fort Wilderness served all kinds of snacks. I usually got a brownie and an apple juice. In the 70s, we would hang out there for hours. During its height, when the fort and all the tunnels were open, the island’s serenity and adventurousness was a blissful, intoxicating mix.

"Most of us can think of a period of change and uprootedness in our own lives and remember a feeling of adventurousness and hopefulness, a drive to meet people and check out the new surroundings. That acute, nervous loneliness is a kind of social glue."
