This Christmas morning, our final #AdventWindow for 2024 can be found at the redundant Grade ll* listed church of #StLeonardAtTheHythe here in #Colchester, #BritainsFirstCity.

You'll find this six panel, curved stained glass #AdventWindow over the door of the After Office Hours pub/cocktail bar (originally The Lamb and later the Bay & Say and Faunus & Firkin) on #Colchester High Street.

The building is Grade ll listed.

I got to use my creative skills in my day job today, making a festive window display. I’m really pleased with how it turned out. Everything crossed that it doesn’t melt!

Today's #AdventWindow can be found in the Cloisters Room in #Colchester's C18th Grade ll* listed #GreyFriarsHotel.

It's a room we know well as it's where we hold our monthly coffee mornings.

You'll find this bay window, our latest #AdventWindow from #Colchester, #BrtainsFirstCity, at what is now Superdrug, 22, High Street.

The current building is late C18th and is Grade ll listed. Of particular note are the two gas lamp fittings under the window.

This rather distinctive 'half moon' window is today's #AdventWindow offering from #Colchester, #BritainsFirstCity.

It can be found on the front of the locally listed former Electric Theatre on St John's Street .

For today's #AdventWindow from we bring you this 'eye-piece' window on the front of the Grade l listed, East Lodge and Gate House at 83-4 High Street.

The C16 and C17 building was built for William and Susan Boyes. William was a baymaker and mayor.
