It always surprises me that at the tiniest bit of adversity or marginalization we’re to drop everything & make sure to pay attention to guy feelings. Meanwhile minorities and women have had far more adversity forever& are told to shut up about it and prioritize young conservative white men.

I don't like to be like "well, adversity can produce art" but it is also true that my capacity to produce art is substantially shaped by the adversity I've experienced. I don't know how to feel about that
