Win or lose, they should keep running those advertisements about Ken Paxton being a crook.

Most importantly:

3) No more fucking political advertisements when I am watching football.

A Bellingcat analysis of video ads purchased by the two largest AI-backed Super PACS has revealed that their political advertisements rarely ever mention their stances on AI, despite the advertisements being paid for by issue-specific PACs. www.bellingcat.com/news/2026/11...

more space for advertisements

ofc capitalism is really effective at making propaganda because all advertisements exist as propaganda. the state can simply subsume the advertising as propaganda without actually needing to create it themselves

Cyberpunk Edgerunners season 2 is pretty good as far as advertisements go.

Y'know as someone writing an absurd capitalist dystopia that forces useless and harmful technology on a population at gunpoint, I don't appreciate our actual capitalist dystopia trying to outpace me. dresdencodak.com/2019/08/13/d...

I remember when Yul Brynner was dying of lung cancer and in his most desperate moments, made TV advertisements begging people not to smoke. Heartbreaking.

every time i see these characters i am more exasperated at how *awful* the color palettes are. i do not know how you can intentionally start with “mid-60s tupperware advertisements” and then add neons and greys all in clashing hues. the garbage robot is the only one with a passable design
Concord's character select will always live in my heart as some of the funniest I've ever seen like there are layers to how this makes me cackle

how long before they restart disingenuously inserting the LGBTQ+ flag design in advertisements

"linear time has collapsed, buy some shit" scream the advertisements

Whatever algorithm is governing my podcast advertisements is easily the worst one. No, I am not interested in going on a bare knuckle boxing "bruise cruise," in the Caribbean.

In London right now they are trying to recruit people into army with advertisements boasting a compelling starting salary. That salary?

£20k
I really annoys me that the Govt thinks you are only 'making a strong contribution to the UK' if:

1) you earn over 50k
2) you work in a narrowly define list of education/health jobs.

Work in the third sector? Civil service? Volunteer? But earn average wage.

You dont contribute. Back of the line.

My district! I voted but thought no chance in hell. There were no political signs or advertisements at all.

We should have set up an election advertisements bingo card because I have seen attack ads from a whole lotta states.
November 3, 2026 at 2:39 AM
Voting is like a bus. It only goes to like 2 places— which may or may not be where you want to go— and you have to wait forever for it. Also despite theoretically being part of the government it somehow costs $8.50, and you're being shown advertisements the whole time
