It only just occurred to me that my first furry convention, Califur ‘06, was in the hotel that hosted Conference 0 in 1989 - the first ever furry convention.

I like to think that #AFC2026 carries on that legacy of SoCal as the original hub of furry. Thankfully it is worthy.
