The Netherlands is the world's second largest food exporter. So the question of UK adoption of agri-tech is not viability, but why this hasn't happened unlike for neighbours.
Not sure the answer, but that will probably help determine whether it can change in the future.

Using a DJI M30T drone to check the cows. This cow is getting a drink from an enclosed insulated covered tank designed not to freeze in -40 weather. The water is pumped using solar. Video was taken in complete darkness using the thermal camera. Temperature was -16F. Drone flew well in the cold.
