Ahmanet from The Mummy (2017) Underwater Here's the second Halloween-related artwork I made for this year. I must feel like the only one who liked the 2017 version of The Mummy with Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, and Russel Crowe, and I would get why people dislike it, but I had fun watching it. Anyway, I made this after seeing the film twice when it came out and didn't complete it until now. It's mostly like the scene in the movie where Ahmanet took Nick's girlfriend through an underwater catacomb and Nick goes after them, only to be chased by zombies. But instead of replicating the scene, I've just gone with having Ahmanet floating alone underwater. Maybe preparing to strike Nick back or something. Originally drawn in pencil. Colors, filters, bubbles, background, tombs, and edits done in Photoshop. (Made on October 13th, 2017) Beverly from IT (2017) Underwater Here's the third Halloween-related artwork I made for this year. This time, it's a scene interpretation from the 2017 version of IT. I've seen the new IT movie three times and I myself like this version more than the TV mini-series with Tim Curry. The film had good scares, nice effects, and I like Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise. Well, in the movie, there's a scene in which The Losers Club go to the quarry for a swim and Beverly Marsh was the first to jump in, followed by the boys. So, that scene inspired me to do this. It's of Beverly swimming underwater at the quarry, looking up for the boys to make their jump (as I see it). But Pennywise is lurking in the dark parts of the water and reaches out his arm as if to grab Beverly. This one I'll leave to open for what's next. Originally drawn in pencil. Colors, filters, background, bubbles, extras and edits done in Photoshop. (Made on October 18th, 2017)
