More than a century and a half later, Sheppard’s great-great-granddaughter has been elected governor of Georgia.

Whether this is true or not, it will be genuinely interesting to see how American Jewish establishment organizations such as the ADL and AJC, which have gone all in on supporting the Trump admin's "anti-antisemitism" campaign and on attacking Mamdani, respond to this announcement.
