Day 6, it's my favorite sketch of Raffles! The fellow in my banner AND icon.
I feel like, if you don't know who he is, you should sign up for Letters From Bunny for a good time!!

it's Raffles and Bunny! i found myself thinking about Rope (1948) while drawing, and it shows. raffles also ended up looking a bit like tplosh holmes but i refuse to erase the accidental stage makeup

I'm his silly rabbit
#crimeandcricket #bunnymanders #ajraffles
Drawing of a three panel comic. Bunny Manders is sitting in a dining room while being interviewed by someone off screen. Panel 1: Bunny has a smile on his face, looking at the interviewer. He says, "I'm Raffles' right hand arm. Man. I'm Raffles' everything." Panel 2: Bunny looks more thoughtful, his eyes looking slightly to his right as he continues speaking: "I'm his confidant... His best friend... His silly rabbit." A speech bubble coming from the interviewer off screen reads: "His what." Bunny replies, "His silly rabbit." Panel 3: The interviewer says, "Is that what he calls you?" Bunny, visibly tearing up and trembling. His speech bubble is squiggly and reads, "Yes."

a drawing of Bunny and Raffles. Raffles is standing behind Bunny and has his left hand on Bunny's right shoulder. In Raffles' right hand is a pistol, which he's holding to shoulder height and pointing upwards as he's saying "I think we're gonna have to kill this guy, Bunny." Bunny is looking downwards and sadly replies, "Damn."

A.J Raffles

Another character I made based on the book is not in leblanc's book but for someone else. The person who made this character in the novel was E W Hornung, the brother in law of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the author of sherlock holmes he's the one who made the character name A. J Raffles, another thief just like lupin, though lupin is a lone wolf raffles, has a friend named Bunny Manders. I made my own version of raffles as a European pine marten. I still like arsène lupin myself he is still one of my favorites. I hope you all like this version.

i'm the only one who cares about this roaring 20s au but it's fine.
#crimeandcricket #ajraffles #bunnymanders
a three panel comic, digitally drawn and colored. bunny manders and aj raffles are in a car together. raffles is driving while bunny looks at him from the passenger seat. bunny is wearing a pink flapper dress with a matching headband and feather accessory and large teardrop shaped earrings and a long rope of pearls around his neck. raffles is wearing a black suit with a blue tie and a white dress shirt. it's nighttime and a silhouette of the city passes by them in the car windows. panel 1 shows bunny with his body facing right, looking at the viewer thoughtfully but it's implied that he's looking at raffles. white text above his head reads, "you're in a car with a beautiful boy." panel 2 has raffles in profile, facing left and looking at the road with one hand on the wheel. white text above his head reads, "and he won't tell you that he loves you." panel 3 shows bunny again, in the same pose except he's smiling now. white text above his head reads, "but he loves you."
