I am on act 3 myself and this is peak gameplay.
I know people say the support system has less going on in it, but I don't mind cause its more akin to old FE games where you get attached to characters based on just liking them for whatever reason.

Those two labels are analogies internal to the question. Let me put it this clearly: Is the only reason you shouldn't torture a LLM because it might teach you bad moral manners?
Or, independent of that, should you also not torture one because it can experience something akin to suffering?

I don't quite understand this perspective. Is a x86 computer more akin to a realistic doll or an animal? Is a classical-autonomy industrial robot more akin to... Is the weather more akin to... Etc.
