New addition to my fx family. Alabs Novadrift multi distortion. Have been so impressed with their Cetus reverb that it was an easy decision. Solves the problem of only having space for a phaser or a flanger. For a budget(ish) range, they are very good - and look great too. #guitarpedals #pedalboard

@greenyx.bsky.social If I were you, I'd immediately want to play with the "shimmer" setting on that octave reverb, and combine it with your Alabs CETUS Reverb and get all ambient for awhile.

I have the JHS octave reverb as my main always / mostly on reverb, but the Alabs Cetus reverb ‘shimmer’ setting is incredible - like adding an angelic, cavernous choir! It’s a permanent placement for that alone.

Alabs pedals also have gorgeous art in them (and they come with stickers of said art). The Cetus (blue, reverb) and Nova drift (green, Modulation) are what I have on my board

The Alabs Cetus Reverb has a beautiful cloud setting that will do that for you at a decent price. In fact, it has several big shimmer ‘verb settings. Lots of YouTube demos if you want to see / hear it in action.

I take that back: I got the video to work! Not a POG though that is the more popular choice. Alternatives that are THAT red are the newest Line 6 pod that was released or ALABs Orbital, point is it’s an octaver which gives you the B3 tone because of the warbly pitch tracking.
