I would love to be added! I draw traditionally with pencil, micron pens, pencil crayon, and alcohol markers. I'm heavily focused on ink sketches and am working on a Pokedex challenge.

have you considered giving other alcohol-based markers a chance? i know copic has a lot of fame and prestige but im sure there are other more affordable brands that do the job just as well

Happy #October3rd! Here is a redraw of a picture I drew last year based on an illustration I saw in the FMA art book( last year’s piece was coloured using water markers & this year’s piece was coloured using alcohol markers).
This year’s picture I coloured using Ohuhu alcohol markers. Last year’s picture I coloured using regular water markers. The original illustration I based my pictures on that was drawn by Hiromu Arakawa

This year for Ottober I am creating all my prompts with alcohol markers, I medium I very seldom use!

October 4th prompt for #ottober2026 is Orbit! I struggled to come up with a proper concept but I think I came up with something alright!
Ottober 2026 Prompt #2 Traditional, pen and alcohol marker A month-long art prompt challenge created by me with a new prompt every 3 days for the month of October. Prompt #2 was Orbit. Features a dark space landscape with 4-pointed stars of various sizes dotting the sky. In the center-right section is a large planet with land and ocean spaces, clearly differentiating it from the planet Earth. A lighter orbit-like ring floats around the center of the planet, and in front of the planet is a small satellite in the shape of an elongated otter head, put together by randomized metal plates.

4/ I've found xylene (toxic, use w ventilation!) and alcohol markers work well. Sharpies & Micron pens work, at least long enough to trace your image.

While the ink dries almost immediately, it's helpful to let the piece 'set' for an hour before you stick it down on fabric.

Here’s some art from the graphic novel series I’m writing and illustrating: ink and alcohol markers with Poscas and gel pens, on multimedia paper.
Premonitia is a story based on dreams I’ve been having since I was a tiny kid. It’s sci fi and fantasy, with a mix of fanfic and OCs. Volume X is based on a dream I had about my kids, and has A LOT of fanfic guest stars. It’s featuring Beldam from the movie Coraline. This is the end page for Volume X. The “Fin” has elements representing each of my kids superpowers, backdropped by their mother with her cape spread over them, and guarded by their dad (me) and his “thunder fists”.

I have some just super cheap alcohol markers I got from Amazon, I splurge on my colored pencils but yeah I gotta agree w/ the "any tools" when it comes to markers.
