Pulling an alphadreams luigi thing today lol

Unbeknownst to me until yesterday, DQ fan in China, AlphaDreams, finished a localization of DQ+ a couple of months ago. He told me that It was very well received in his community. 👏 He made improvements and even plans on adding new content.

I am impressed. Congrats on the Chinese localization!

This game is jam packed with Alphadreams usual fetishes and derangement

Also it's title screen music is remixed yet unused in Superstar Saga, and Hermie III is a reference to one of the random enemies from it, just to provide some connection

gosh same…….. alphadreams early m+l games are magical

I heard they only brought in Paper Mario because they could just take the assets from Sticker Star and that cut back on costs during development... Really, a lot of AlphaDreams later games feel like they were cutting corners a lot.

Because for me the genericness doesn't feel as jut a symptom of nsmbfication of mario in the early to mid 2010s or even money issuse Alphadreams had, but instead a symptom of the factt the premise isn't really that good when you look into it precisely of the OC appeal.

Maybe the guilt of AlphaDreams going bankrupt. Though that was likely a foregone conclusion, due to the company already having sustainability problems even before the remake.

anyways repeating the bowser jr journey final boss theme as alphadreams swan song and praying to God brothership's ost impacts me in some life changing way as most of the ml titles did (we dont look at mlpj)

Probe el mario & luigi super star saga de 3ds. Y me parece un remake sencillo. Alphadreams seguiria viva si hubieran sacado los 2 remakes para switch por que estos remakes no parecen hechos para 3ds. (Almenos SS)
Aveces olvido esa etapa rara de que la switch compartia espacio con la 2DS XL.

I really cant get behind that. The DS remakes are imo, lightyears farther in art design/performance.
I feel kinda gross about playing the ghost of AlphaDreams past.
But hell yeah glad you enjoyed it. Whats next?
