AMN Reviews: Alphaxone & Dronny Darko – Beyond the Event Horizon (2023; Cryo Chamber)
As far as I can tell, this is the second collaboration between Alphaxone (Mehdi Saleh) and Dronny Darko (Oleg Puzan). In a way, it is largely what you might expect from these two - long, deep synth drones with…

As far as I can tell, this is the second collaboration between Alphaxone (Mehdi Saleh) and Dronny Darko (Oleg Puzan). In a way, it is largely what you might expect from these two - long, deep synth drones with hazy atmospherics and crackling effects popping up in the background. Representing an excursion into space, Beyond the Event Horizon delivers haunting yet majestic tones with a requisite level of disquiet.

There’s a dark ambient label called Cryo Chamber and they have loads of artists that are perfect for background (Alphaxone Protou and Dronny Darko are my favourites) they also have a line of collaborations named after the Cthulhu gods that are great.
