Very much a design first project.. but once I locked on vamps.. mostly the 90s/early 2000s vampire fiction I loved as a teen.. Blade, buffy etc.

For alt history, I refer back to Fatherland a lot. Wanted to tell a story set in an alternate history, not a story necessarily ABOUT an alternate history
Any particular vampire stories helped to play a role in your design decisions (outside of Dracula) or did the story come after?

Who wants to tell @espn.com that the Dream’s opponents in the Finals had to host a playoff game at an alternate venue as recently as last year, contrary to what their story claims?

So not a James Tiptree, Jr. situation?

So in other words, in an alternate history, Bioman would be a cult classic among 80s kids?
It'd be kitsch and obscure enough to have a small following and likely be one of those shows that could have been memorable by a generation of viewers. Not a commercial draw by any means, but that generation would love the adventures early on.
