If more equine enthusiasts had a realistic perspective rather than idealistic, there'd be far fewer troubled horses.

Horse, Curiosity & Learning

When I met this horse, she would attack, charge, bite, strike, spin, and double barrel kick. All symptoms reflecting what her previous human training had taught her about people.

Educating the horse without triggering his fear allows for the animal to think, search, try, and willingly participate.

Good on you
For showing up.
For trying.
For searching.
For persisting through the challenges.
For seeking change within.

Fell Pony is here for the summer to be started. Definitely prefers the cooler climate here in the PNW vs her southern CA home.

Inspecting her shedded coat... after I had an OCD impromptu grooming session, "brushed" with just my fingers.

A 4 year old Fell Pony learning not to impose on nearby items. Her owner witnessed how her curiosity would cause her to "get into" (literally) everything at home if it was protected by hotwire.

Universally understood "leave it."

Despite this insanity, horses still need to be fed & looked after. They are peacefully unaware of the chaos.

Just a gentle reminder to "reset" the mind and emotions before heading out to interact with our unsuspecting equines.

Enjoy a client's herd.
