The 6th Annual Barrydale Analogue Photo Festival is on from 12 - 20th December in the Western Cape. I'm showing some work printed using the cyanotype, Van Dyke brown, and salted paper processes and will be speaking at 2pm on Saturday 13th.

Dennis da Silva at the Alternative Print Workshop here in Johannesburg very kindly gave me a sheet of Hahnemühle Platinum Rag to test. It's made for alt process printing, so unsurprisingly it performs beautifully.

Alternative photography print processes really cost three times as much for every component (paper, chemistry, transparency media, ink, computer, printer, UV lamps, brushes etc etc) for me to pursue, so I'm very happy about the new supplier :-D
