unrelated to everything I still cannot believe we got more chase brody/altrverse lore today (technically yesterday) I seriously thought that whole shebang was set to the side/abandoned in favor of other/bigger projects

fun fact i was originally gonna do something like this for an jse / altrverse au i had cuz i wanted to see how i can make them different from each other but ended up shelving it for now cause i wanted to focus more on my cotl au: broken crown (or the swap au)

more rambling about my whack ass au:
basically in the au the jackieboyman and void silver comics still happen as well as dark silence, CHASE, anomaly found, and now LOST ig (and a little bit of retconned ego lore smiles), except the egos are their own people with their own lives yet they coexist in the same universe, its supposed to be a jackie centered au taking place at issue 1 and 2 to the moment where he got his powers and then just completely derailing from there (i basically wanted to make an au as an excuse to see all of the altrverse/ego characters interact and watch through the glass like a deranged mad scientist LMAO) lil notes and headcanons about this au: he is roommates with chase and henrik, he used to live in boston but bumped into chase when he was in a tough spot and ended up moving to the uk with him after offering him a filming gig and getting to know him for a bit, over the course of a few years they would get to know eachother better and becoming close knit (close enough to where they would see eachother as family basically and also him getting reassured he wont immedialy get kicked out for doing something dumb lol, the same would happen with henrik though he was incredibly intimidating at first glance but they got along rather quickly) this would also be where in a few years he would eventually meet marvin shortly after getting his powers and both of them having beef with each other throuout the course of story lol about how jackie's powers work is well obviously he's got super strength and agility like in the comic, though for this i also wanted to give him eletricity powers, advanced healing and secret third thing :) phoenix powers- *gets shot* this would have like a seasons format so basically the first one would be a retelling of the first jackieboy man comic where he gets his powers, meets aylin, and does everything leading up to the ending of issue 2, then he meets marvin and they both investigate what happened as well as researching what anti matter/energy even is, then dark silence happens, meeting anti for the first time, stuff with the magic circle, jackie so desperatly trying to keep his identity hidden from his family and failing spectacularly, many near death experiences and more stuff that happens that i cant say rn cause one spoilers and also dont have the energy to type out the entire timeline on this i fear sorgy. the second would be a short timeskip into what would then be CHASE, anomoly found and eventually LOST. still need to make an actual timeline eventually but that's the format currently

I saw the gay potential between two ALTRverse characters and never looked back. some say he's still writing gay smut to this day.........

LMAO no actually my "awakening" was when I made my entire class laugh with my writing as a child. that shit felt SO good. I knew then that's what I NEEDED to do

With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.
