I too spotted those numbers in and around Old North, on the edge of Hyde Park and now St. Louis Place. I kept meaning to look them up beyond the owner (AmberStones for most). It looks like they use LIHTC funding and have partnerships with YWCA and Employment Connections. I’m hoping to learn more!

[A couple of notes from local librarian Lim Chun Ying]

“What is Amberstone?”

Amberstones symbolize the bond of a dinosaur and its sauro-tamer.
If you are able to earn the trust of a dinosaur, rather it be through strength, food, or protection, you can tame and summon it whenever needed.(1)
