Als ik de bladvorm van jouw plant vergelijk, dan vind ik deze niet overeenkomen met Amboinicus. De bladvoet loopt veel meer af, terwijl bij Amboinicus deze vrij recht afloopt, vergelijkbaar met Japanse duizendknoop (zie foto hieronder). Ook heeft Amboinicus dikke, dichtbehaarde bladeren.

Not quite sure why the #houseplant 🌱 people haven't discovered coelus amboinicus yet... it was classified until a few years ago as Plectranthus amboinicus. And should not be confused with Plectranthus tomentosa. But it's fast growing, can be bonsai-ed cutely, and is tolerant to over/under/watering.

Coleus amboinicus and parsley is a good sub! It's got the right texture. But any oregano and parsley is close taste wise.

The Coleus amboinicus plant my social worker gifted me really coming in clutch right now. Been crushing up those leaves and huffing them like glue.

There's one with triangular leaves in short clusters and more closely than above, with a vining habit, and I don't think those are true amboinicus, but they smell nasty compared to the previous three I listed. To me, smells like urine... get the amboinicus.
Amboinicus is easy to grow.

Coleus amboinicus - taken from my father's yard in Florida and transplanted to my California balcony garden.
He calls it oregano. Internet research shows it by many names, including: Mexican mint, Indian borage, French thyme, and Cuban oregano.
