still occasionally thinking about how in initial script there was a line from ambulon mentioning how he left decepticons and became medic because of his admiration for ratchet

More like bent over his desk in the medbay, but yes 🤭 he just needed a good, hard frag to get all the stress and frustration out.
Tho I do feel sorry for First Aid and Ambulon for having to listen to them going at it in Ratchet's office 🫣

thought about ambulon defecting from the decepticons because he wanted to work with ratchet specifically. had to lie down.

whats the mechanism for paint transfers in tf fics? I’m thinking about it too deeply, but the human equivalent would be like skin cells rubbing off (?)
I’d think most tfs are the natural colours of their plating unless explicitly said theyre painted (like Ambulon), plus they turn grey after dying

In my AU he is in a coma during most of the war in an Autobot stasis pod, Pharma and Ambulon have being trying to help.
Also he was shot down by seekers (killing blow was starscreams missile) when trying to recover Autobot lifechords from the battlefield with Sunder.

The only thing I will say I don't like about his design is the like, pylons? Horns? Wings? On his head. It feels like it's close to being a really strong design and then they just plonked those on. Probably just how bulky they are.

In my head canon, when Ambulon was a Decepticon, and was going by his original name, Bombshell, he was the one responsible for brainwashing Beachcomber into attempting an assassination of Blaster.

I feel like making an Ambulon design for my fan continuity, where he transforms into a power wheelchair or some other mobility aid.
