Three headliners, one packed room and an audience that seemed to know every word. Amelie Farren, Lilith Max and Rabbitology brought their triple-headlining tour to Off Broadway in St Louis on October 2, and there was little sense that any one artist was playing second fiddle. The connection between the three acts was a big part of what made the night work. Rather than feeling like three separate sets stitched together, Farren, Max and Rabbitology played off each other and kept the energy moving throughout the show, with plenty of crowd interaction along the way.

Australian singer-songwriter Amélie Farren is set to return to North America this autumn, joining Rabbitology and Lilith Max for the Three Wishes Tour, a co-headline run across the United States and Canada from 24 September to 8 October. The City Recital Hall can feel almost intimidating before a show begins. Towering walls, polished timber, rows upon rows of seated anticipation. It’s the kind of venue that demands scale. And yet somehow Bear's Den make it feel intimate within minutes. Backseat Mafia caught the band at the Vanguard last year, where the songs felt almost whispered directly into the room. Tonight is the complete opposite in terms of size, but the emotional connection somehow lands exactly the same. Looking across the packed Recital Hall, it’s striking just how much this audience has grown.
