President Donald Trump is set to deliver a 'historic' speech Saturday night at the Salute to America celebration on the National Mall, marking America's 250th anniversary. The event, which includes a massive fireworks display, will feature stories of American heroes and reflect on the nation's history since its founding. Trump's address comes after he praised the 'stronger than ever' America in a Truth Social post, highlighting the 'incredible' crowds despite adverse weather conditions. The speech will be preceded by an air show featuring NASA jets and B-1 bombers, with the grand finale lasting over two minutes. Trump also addressed recent vandalism at the Reflecting Pool, calling the perpetrators 'Vandal Thugs' and vowing to repair the site. Earlier, he delivered a patriotic speech at Mount Rushmore, calling the U.S. the 'most exceptional nation ever to exist' and warning against communism. The event organizer, Freedom 250, will provide updates as weather conditions may affect the schedule. The speech is part of a broader celebration of American independence, with Trump emphasizing themes of freedom and national pride.
