Photography and art. An artfully cut wide leaf as a silhouette with a blurred blue sky and a field of red flowers as a background. The artist uses a cutter knife to cut detailed scenes from leaves. The photo shows a Christmas tree with a star, Christmas baubles and a garland. Below it, five animals stand in the grass and sing a Christmas carol. A deer, a frog, a rabbit and a mouse are holding a Christmas carol in their hands. A little elf with a walking stick conducts the troupe. The filigree work is held by one hand and you can see the blue sky through the cut-outs. Simply beautiful. Merry Christmas.

Streetartwall. In an abandoned factory in France, a super cute mural of a Christmas Gremlin has been spray painted/painted in 3D. A square, half-height room (probably an office) is built into a corner of the factory building. The artist has "conjured up" a blue, open wooden treasure chest from which a fluffy creature with long ears and big eyes peers out. It has white and brown fur, a Santa hat on its head and a sad puppy dog look. With one paw on the edge, it probably wants to be let out. Info: Gremlins is a 1984 American horror comedy about a young man who keeps a pet mogwai, a small furry imp that, when mistreated, spawns creatures that turn into aggressive monsters and wreak havoc in the city.

Photography. A color photo of a beige teddy bear in the snow. He is standing in the snow dressed as Santa Claus with a red hat and coat. Around him is a snow-covered landscape with branches and bushes. A thin, upright branch is so frozen by the wind that the icy snow hangs in jags on one side. With the teddy bear next to it, it looks like a small flag with a flagpole. A very cute Christmas photo. Info: Christian Kneidinger is an Austrian travel photographer who always takes his teddy bears with him on his travels around the world to photograph them in typical local situations. It started with his 40 cm tall teddy bear named John James in Iceland in 2014 and was followed by 32 countries and several teddy bears.

Sculpture. A bronze sculpture on the edge of Lake Geneva with the title: "Melancholy". The bronze sculpture is a life-size man sitting on a wooden bench. His stomach is missing, he consists of arms, legs and head. There is a hole in the place of his upper body through which you can see the lake behind him. His small head is lowered and his arms are crossed on his bare thighs. Everything about this sculpture expresses sadness and despair. Info: The photo was chosen to express deep sympathy to the victims and relatives of the terrorist attack on a Christmas market in Magdeburg on December 20, 2024.

Streetart. A beautiful mural with a Christmas motif was painted on the old door of a modern clothing store. The red-painted door forms the background for a large, smiling snowman with a top hat and tartan scarf. A beige cat sits next to him and looks at him with interest. Another cat is painted on the letterbox next to the door. The door itself is decorated with a Christmas tree arch and a Christmas door wreath, above which there is lighting with fir greenery. Info: The door was painted last year for Advent and looked different the rest of the year. Only the cat remained and the rest of the door was painted half pink and half white. This year the snowman is back, a deer head and many other things have been added, but unfortunately the cat has disappeared. What a pity.

Photography. A beautiful color photo of a little girl sending a wish list to Santa Claus. The picture shows a country lane between two long rows of green fir trees. A little girl in a bobble hat, beige winter dress and white woolly sweater is standing in front of a red letterbox. She stands on tiptoe and pushes a large red envelope with the word "Santa" inside. (It's easy to forgive the trickling snow in the photo, which was probably added later). A typical Christmas card photo, but so heart-warming and skillfully taken by a professional children's photographer that you'll melt away like the snow.

Photography. A color photo taken by drone shows an unusual and huge ground painting on a frozen island in the Baltic Sea. The island, surrounded by rippling ice edges, rises out of the frozen water and is the perfect canvas for a portrait of a woman's face. The picture shows the head of a woman with closed eyes, half submerged in the icy water. The dimension can be recognized by the fact that the artist is standing tiny next to the head on the ice. The huge work of art was created using only charcoal and water from an ordinary garden sprayer and will therefore disappear of its own accord. Info: According to the artist, the artwork entitled "Emergence" is about renewal, resilience and the beauty of scars. It is a kind of baptism - a figure marked by the past, but resurrected and ready for something new.

The green beauty is a Grinch and wears her hair tied in a plait, with a red bow on her head. She is also wearing a red and white polka dot Christmas dress.
