A comic strip in four panels: Panel 1. A bird's-eye view of the top of the Amphora of Great Intelligence, a wizard in yellow colors is on the stack of books from the content of the amphora. He yell at a crowd of wizard at the bottom of the Amphora, a crowd of red wizard. Some other wizard in red evacuate some grimoires, their arms are full of books. On the top, you can see an onion (for The Onion) and a cover that looks like the Reddit mascot: > Wizard in yellow: Alright, I've cleared out a few grimoires to tweak it, we should get better results now! Panel 2. I think language is more like a "shadow" of thought, allegory of the cave style, when I talk to you I put an amphora in front of the flame and you recognise its shadow as an amphora (though some details are lost), but the LLM just puts a cardboard cutout of an amphora in front of the flame

A 3,400 year-old Mycenaean amphora with a spectacular octopus inspired by the ‘Marine Style’ of Minoan Crete.

My photo shows a palace-style amphora with a depiction of a large octopus covering the surface of the vessel. This clay vessel has a wide body which tapers inwards to a narrow flat base. It has two small handles on the shoulders either side of a narrower neck which is outurned at the rim. The base, neck and handles are painted black. The body of the vessel is a light creamy beige colour with a black painted octopus. Its rounded head is near the top of the amphora and its long suckered-arms stretch outwards from its body, curling around the vase, twisting and looping in different directions. Pieces of seaweed float between the arms. This is one of the first Mycenaean examples of the ‘Marine Style’, showing the influence of Minoan Crete.
