There are, as far as I know, 9 types of documented amplexus positions, here's a chart that shows 7 of those. Also sex reversed (female on top) inguinal amplexus is definitely a fun frog behavior that has been observed by some scientist in a cuck chair.

However, most species of salamanders don't do amplexus. They do internal fertilisation. Fertilisation would happen inside Janeway's body before she laid her eggs.

This isn't achieved by penetration. It's much weirder.
