It sounds like they have musical anhedonia, "a lack of sensitivity to reward from or pleasure from music," or amusia, "mainly a defect in processing pitch but also encompasses musical memory and recognition."
It's a shame they're so arrogant about it.

Approximately 3-5% of the population experiences specific musical anhedonia, a condition where individuals can process music normally but do not derive any pleasure or reward from it. There's another, rarer condition called 'amusia' whereby individuals cannot process pitch.

From Oliver Sacks's "Musicophilia", which I'm re-reading with great pleasure. This passage reminded me of playing keyboards at a gig in Berlin for a (quite well-known) singer who managed the astonishing feat of singing a cover of "See Emily Play" a semitone sharp throughout.

Friendly reminder that not being able to sing in tune is not a character flaw. Many of us “tone deaf” folks have structural and functional differences in a specific brain network connecting the temporal and frontal lobes in the right hemisphere. This affects pitch perception and pitch memory.
For Amusia
Amusia awareness and support for neurodivergent people shamed and excluded as tone deaf, tin-eared, unable to carry a tune due to congenital amusia.
