Hang on, that's not quite right! There's this puzzle bit with a short row of analgoue knobs. I was sure I needed to divine the correct settings all by myself. Lining them up or smthg. But I actually just needed to find a memo with the code on it XD

That color scheme does go INCREDIBLY hard. This is reminding me I need to get my Analgoue Pocket repaired and making me rage again that the battery is so shit lol.

Has anyone had success updating the @analogue.bsky.social Mega SG firmware with a micro SD card adapter? The damn thing won't take any of mine, and I can't believe that Analgoue would require a standard SD card for updating. I don't remember the last time I had a computer with an SD slot.

the people (for the most part) telling you that FPGA isnt emulation are trying to sell you something.
FPGA is hardware emulation (At a high level) that doesnt mean it isnt really fucking good and close to the OG experience.
this annoys me to no end about Analgoue so many fucking times.

I'm a big nerd about this but tbh a MiSTer is getting you 99% of the way to real hardware if that's something you care about. and you really don't have to care about it.
I used to have Opinions about real hardware vs emulator but with a very few exceptions, essentially all emulators that run on somewhat modern PCs or devices are good enough that nothing related to the gameplay is getting lost in the experience

Re:CoM or CoM CoM? I played the original a few years back on the analgoue pocket and it is still absurdly gorgeous pixel art

If it's anything like the Analgoue Pocket, these aren't actually limited editions and will be sold in waves ad nauseum until the heat death of the universe.

Made my #nintendo64 wireless with @8bitdo #n64 mod kit. Really simple to do & comes with everything you need to do it. Playing N64 games on switch online, they don't seem to make receiver for my original console but I'm not too worried as I pre-ordered the Analgoue 64, it'll be used for that mainly

I don't use spotify anymore, but the scrobbling app on my audio player can generate silly little charts
last.fm and listenbrainz do their own version of wrapped as well but they come out a bit later I think?

Analgoue is infamous for not meeting their release plan and being silent about it. Good products but terrible communication.

Analogue is releasing the Analgoue 3D which is their FPGA N64, but that won’t release till next year and who knows how badly they’ll bungle the preorders (Analogue’s known for doing that a lot).
