The 30 feet tall statue of Pinocchio in the city of Borås, West Sweden, may rise some questions. Why does Jim Dine's statue stand here? Well the reason is that the Disney cartoonist making the look of Pinocchio for the movie, had his ancestery in Borås. So Pinnochio walking to Borås is walking home.

I know a number of young people who have Irish ancestery have applied for Irish passports/citizenship, which allows them freedom of travel in Europe and the UK.

that doesn't solve anything. We live here, in Turkey, for better or worse and we would be just as out of place in the lands our ancestors lived in. I don't know what I'm trying to say. I think I just want to let that part of myself, my ancestery, recognized as it is. For better or worse, I'm Adige.

Oh my gosh how wonderful! I’m jealous. I did DNA testing a few years back through Ancestery and unfortunately my crazy ancestors came over here a few hundred years ago so I’m stuck 😂

Here is my Grandad (3rd in RHS), Leslie James Harris with the Kent Fire Brigade. They are wearing The Proto and Salvus breathing apparatus and we believe he was training recruits from abroad. ⠀
