Met a lovely woman last week with angiosarcoma of the heart. Her doc at MD Anderson couldn't get her a full course of ifosfamide, 1 of the few drugs indicated for soft tissue sarcomas.

Vi ricordate di lei? È Sofia Sacchitelli, scomparsa a 23 anni, al quinto anno di Medicina, per un angiosarcoma cardiaco nel 2023.
Ciao Sofìa, coraggiosa e splendida Collega.

Anyway, welcome to our newest episode of "Is it my current chronic illnesses, or is it cancer."

For those of you just tuning in, I already spent five+ years diagnosed with fake angiosarcoma, so at this point it's hard to take anything seriously.

Less than a year ago, he was found in complete heart failure and life-flighted to Boston Children's Hospital, later diagnosed with angiosarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer. After 6 rounds of chemotherapy, Riley is in remission and back on the pitcher's mound, playing the game he loves 💛

for those of you who have not been along for the journey... it was weird, because my body is weird. I was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, which it definitely wasn't, because I'm not dead. For a bunch of years I was a cancer patient with no symptoms, & every 2-4 months we checked to see if I was dying.

Today, we honored the life of the ethereal Allyce Trapp Alexander.

She was everything you could want in a friend. She deserved the world, not angiosarcoma — but she fought so valiantly for the last 16 months.

Team Allyce. Forever & always.

We will miss you, pretty lady.💛💜

Epithelioid angiosarcoma with extensive intravascular growth. Obviously there must be a right sided primary. There’s supposed to be a liver mass.

This time, it *could* be something terrible or it could (again) be a radiologist who didn't read my (to be fair extensive and complicated) chart, and saw my WEIRD AS FUCK pelvis built of pig cadaver and bone growth goo, a past (incorrect) angiosarcoma diagnosis, and freaked.

Today is World Cancer day and as a survivor of angiosarcoma I appreciate all cancer research. I guess the current administration would turn back the clock on cancer treatments if they could inflict a little more pain on people who least need it.

#PathSky 67F, s/p lumpectomy and RT 5 yrs ago for DCIS, now with a mass IN the breast. The outside was worried about post RT angiosarcoma, in part because of the CD31 and C-MYC. This is just fat necrosis with CD31-pos macrophages. 1- post RTAS occurs in the SKIN, not breast. 2- macs express CD31.

I'm super looking forward to talking to my rheumatologist today who surely looked at my file this morning & is like "WTF is happening" (my GP sent me for the most recent scans because the misdiagnosed murder cancer lump has regrown - after more than a decade. It is clearly not angiosarcoma).

I had my thyroids partially removed over angiosarcoma.
The journey sucked.
