I've finally seen the Sailor Moon Cosmos movie. Overall, I really liked it. I would say that the first movie played at breakneck speed through each animamate, and the second one was a bit too slow with a lot of exposition. I would love to see the Sailor V special or Parallel concepts animated now.

I love this idea, and the more obscure friends!

Reposting related 2023 art- my friend @iiya.bsky.social and I had an idea about Naru becoming an animamate, and iiya created a design (bsky.app/profile/iiya...), Sailor Copper Squirrel, which I 3D modeled+drew too! I should revisit this concept...
Three panels. In the first, Naru Osaka (in a Juuban High uniform from Sailor Stars) is recoiling with a horrified expression as golden Galaxia bracelets appear on her wrists in a blast of light against a dark shadow. Behind her, a peculiar red glow drifts out from her body (similar to the red glow seen in a scene of episode 23), and an unreadable symbol shimmers on her forehead- perhaps the stirring of some unknown latent power. In the middle, Naru is now dressed in a Sailor Animamate outfit. Her hair ribbon had grown long like the twintails of Usagi's hair; she has a huge squirrel tail; her ribbon (with small black hearts on it) is also decorated with two strings of copper coins. She has (or perhaps wears?) a pair of suirrel ears. Her overall motif is copper-and-black, with black knee-socks and fuzzy trim, and a bare midriff. Her eyes look depressed and glassy and empty, regretful. The text reads: "Sailor Copper Squirrel. (Naru Osaka, during Sailor Stars. Galaxia had turned Umino into a phage. "Please, I'll do anything!" Naru said, but...)" In the third panel with her head down behind her wrists, Sailor Copper Squirrel fires star-seed-stealing bursts of light from her bracelets. Her expression is somewhat hidden behind her wrists, and from what we can glimpse, she seems dead-eyed, like she isn't enjoying this...

Congrats on the 22k! Thank you for the many years of amazing stock and inspiration! 🤗

Illustration of a Sailor Moon fancharacter done in the style of a full art rare Pokemon Trading Card Game card with rainbow lineart and holographic elements. Sailor Mother of Pearl Moon Jelly is a full figured woman with long blond hair with rainbow ends. She smiles gently at a moon jellyfish floating above her outstretched hand. Behind her is a blue-purple holographic swirl full of floating silver moon jellyfish. Her attacks are listed at the bottom of the card as Paralyzing Embrace and Beam Me Up. Character design of a wood elf druid. The character has a warm skintone with thick, wavy hair that gradients from auburn to deep wine red. Her eyes are bright teal green and her lips and eyeshadow are a warm pink. She carries a gnarled staff wound with delicate gold chains and grape vines heavy with fruit. It is topped with lemon yellow crystals that seem to glow faintly. She is dressed romantically, but practically, with a double-layered skirt with the outer layer held up with leather loops, a cream lace blouse, and a richly decorated leather corset. Her greaves, bracers, and corset are all decorated with grape and vine motifs with her corset having a trellis texture as well. She has cheek, forehead, and collarbone tattoos with a floral motif. She smiles at the viewer with one hand out, ready to cast. A chibi style illustration of a Sailor Moon fan character. The character is a Sailor Animamate and has animal features themed after the Blue Carpenter Bee. She wears a light blue sailor fuku with a bold black and blue striped collar and bodice. The trim on her skirts, boots, and bow is gold. She has opalescent bee wings and blue antennae. She is light-skinned, has lilac eyes, and wavy dark blue hair in a high, voluminous ponytail. She poses on one leg, winking and stretching her arms in front of her. An anime style illustration in chibi proportions of a woman with orange-pink hair lounging on an oversize plush of an owlbear cub. The woman is wearing her long hair back in braids and a low bun and has bangs framing her face. She has on a purple and deep brown bodysuit and matching sandals. On her lap is a sphinx cat named His Majesty, he is facing toward her and away from the viewer. She is petting the cat and smiling at it.

The Crystal Animamates ARPG is celebrating 10 years and hosting a little #chibi art jam!

CA member @alexlyre.bsky.social commissioned me to bring some friends to the festivities, like Sakuragi-no-Miko (dA)'s beautiful Carpenter Bee!

My animamate, Red Viper. Think of her as Scorpion and orochimaru combined.

She is gonna be part of my Sailor Sun era. She's probably gonna be one of the elite villains.

Red Vipers was my paintball team back in high school. So the name stays as my way of honoring them.

Tin Nyanko terrified for her life, decided to work for Sailor Galaxia. Under the Galatica, she was promised once she got the starseed of Mau she could be an Animamate Senshi with the power of Mau. This was her dream since Rehema was gone.

Theoretically it’s somewhere around here.

I haven’t found it since my initial move, so I’m hoping it’s safely just… chilling in a box.
